Customer Reviews

good watch

The product arrived in a timely manner. The instructions are very hard to follow. By trail and error I figured out how to work this product. The video/ and audio works a lot better than I expected it to for the price. I’m still trying to figured out how to take pictures accurately. The watch keeps terrible time, but for the price I guess it’s a good deal.

The watch works but it took two tries the first one was DOA. A cool novelty will be fun to play with

Once I Figured It Out, All Was Good

The manual is not easy to read and I was more confused after reading the manual than I was before I read it! However, there are several YouTube videos that give excellent instructions. Once I watched the videos and figured out which buttons do what, I have found the watch to work well. The videos are actually pretty good, considering, and get better with practice.

Usable, if you know how to use it.

For the price I paid for it, this should be considered a toy, so, can’t comment on it as a real camera or anything. The instruction is really bad, the Chinese version is different but still bad. I was frustrated untill I figured out how to use it.

Connecting to the computer is quite straightforward. It shows up as a removable disk, with a few folders and a time.txt file. The trick to set the time which I learned from here is really an undocumented secret: you modify the time.txt file to set the internal time. Time stamp is on the video clip. The PHOTO and VIDEO folders are clearly for your recording files.

The button to turn on the “camera” is at “8 o’clock”. Push it untill blue light on and the camera is on. Push again, the blue light flashes 3 times and then off, the recording starts. Push again, blue lights flashes 3 times and then off, recording stops. Push untill red light flashes 3 times, the camera is off. The button at 10 o’clock takes photos (when the camera is on). Besides it’s first turned on, you can’t tell the camera is on or off, since the lights are all off.

USB port is at 9 o’clock, I guess the thing at 2 o’clock is the mic.

One more trick: pull the time setting button (at 3 o’clock) out, during recording, so that the audio won’t pick up the tick tock sound.

That’s about all there’s to know to start playing with this toy. Well, the next step will be how to hold it steady, aim accurately, and not being noticed. The video and photo is not bad, quite usable. But, there’s no image stabilization, so be steady. That’s all I have to say after playing with it for 3 hours. Not a bad toy at all.

looks cheap, but does its job.

I would recommend for covert options for anybody & easy to use. I would recommend to the novice, but can be used for pro needs.
